• Hoteliers have had a good 6 months and are optimistic about the future, although they’re still cautious, as issues such as the energy crisis remain challenging.
• All metrics indicate that independent hotels are doing worse than chains, and, in some instances, significantly worse.
• Hoteliers attach great importance to government policies and expect policy makers to help them through these challenging times.
