Definición Bivariate data

Bivariate data result from the simultaneous observation of data that havetwo variables. For example, monitoring people’s individual ice-cream consumption and body weight leads to the creation of a bivariate data set. The aim of the simultaneous data observation of two features is to discover possible correlations. In the example mentioned the data could be used to determine, whether individuals with higher ice-cream consumption end up heavier when they hit the weighing scales.
