In 2022, mobile YouTube users in Brazil spent an average of 22 hours per month on the video app via Android. YouTube was also second-ranked app in terms of average mobile user engagement in Brazil. It also ranked third in Mexico, with 21 monthly hours, and fifth in Argentina, with 13.54 hours. Overall, YouTube's user engagement decreased 5.6 percent in Brazil and 7.9 percent in Mexico, but remained unchanged in Argentina when compared to the previous year.
