Psychologists working in health and social services in Mexico 2021, by sub-sector
In 2021, over 67 percent of practicing psychologists in Mexico were working in the health and social services sector. That year, more than half of all psychologists were employed in doctor's offices, around 6.3 percent worked for psychiatric and addiction treatment hospitals, and nearly two percent of these mental health professionals worked for general hospitals.
