According to an October 2019 survey, a large share of U.S. online users were likely to rather order a low cost item for 5 U.S. dollars or less via Amazon than buy it in-store. Almost a third of internet users aged 25 to 34 years stated that they were somewhat likely to do so, and a further 29 percent claimed this to be very likely for them.
