This statistic shows the injuries sustained by victims of violent crime as a percentage of all violent crimes that involved injuries, as recorded by the Scottish Crime and Justice Survey in the fiscal year 2017/18. Minor bruising or black eyes were the most common injury at 60 percent, followed by scratches or minor cuts and severe bruising. On the other end, 1 percent of victims got severe concussion or lost consciousness.
