In the United Kingdom, long distance trains were consistently the least punctual. From April 2022 to March 2023, the average punctuality for long distance operators was 79.7 percent on-time. London and South East, together with regional and Scotland operators reached an average punctuality of more than 87 and 85 percent during the same period respectively.
