Opinion on diversity portrayed at the Oscars in the U.S. 2024
More than a quarter of American moviegoers agreed that the Academy Awards had a diversity problem and that the nominees were not diverse enough in terms of race, gender and nationality in 2024. On the contrary, less than 40 percent disagreed and thought that the Oscars were diverse enough.
