Share of people who buy at least one print book per month Japan 2023
According to an online survey conducted in Japan in October 2023, more than 53 percent of respondents purchased one or more printed books per month. While the share of people who buy at least one book per month was lower in the case of e-books, frequent e-book buyers tended to buy a higher number of books per month than frequent buyers of printed books.
