Consumers concerns regarding halal logo Indonesia 2023
A survey on the consumer perspective of the halal industry conducted in Indonesia in March 2023 found that around 38 percent of respondents expressed concern over the availability of numerous halal products in the country using fake halal logos. Furthermore, around 20 percent of respondents expressed their apprehension regarding the lack of transparency in the halal logo awarding process by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI).
