Japan: opinion whether domestic labor interferes with women's careers 2023

According a survey conducted between November 2022 and January 2023, around 84 percent of respondents in Japan thought that tasks such as domestic and care labor hinder women's career advancement. Over five percent of the respondents disagreed that unpaid domestic and care work was an obstacle to women's active participation in the workforce.
