People with potential symptoms of generalized anxiety in Chile 2021-2022
According to a survey carried out in Chile in 2022, the share of respondents that reported moderate or severe anxiety symptoms increased by 2.5 percentage points between August 2021 and May 2022. During the analyzed period, the share of people with symptoms of generalized anxiety ranged from 25 percent in August 2021 to 27.5 percent in May 2022. Moreover, the same study found that almost four in every ten respondents suffered from sleep deprivation in the country.
