Share of consumers purchasing wine via digital channels in France 2012-2024
In 2012, around 12 percent of consumers bought wine online in France. Wine e-commerce user penetration steadily increased in the following years, reaching 46 percent in 2021. This figure eventually decreased to 33 percent in 2024, as the long pandemic lockdowns that spurred online spending came to an end.
