Indian consumers spent the most on Battle Royale games that were categorized under the shooting genre of mobile gaming, grossing over 30 million U.S. dollars in 2022. 4X March-Battle strategy games ranked second with a consumer expenditure of over 20 million U.S. dollars that year. Compared to other mobile gaming markets worldwide, India generated the lowest consumer spend on gaming apps.
