Primary energy consumption Singapore 2021, by fuel type
The primary energy consumption in Singapore reached 3.46 exajoules in 2021. Across fuel types, oil accounted for the highest volume of primary energy consumption at 2.93 exajoules, followed by natural gas at 0.48 exajoules. Primary energy consumption refers to the total energy demand including consumption of the sector itself, transmission losses, energy distribution, as well as final consumption by end users.
