Board diversity at leading U.S. banks 2023, by gender
As of August 2023, the highest share of female directors on the board among the largest U.S. banks was at Citigroup, where more than 53 percent of the directors were female. Among the observed banks, Citigroup was the only bank where the share of female directors exceeded 50 percent. TD Bank and JPMorgan Chase completed the top three. The share of female directors was the lowest at Fifth Third Bank and Capital Once, where 25 percent of the board were female for each.
