Number of new foods with function claims registrations in Japan FY 2015-2022
In fiscal year 2022, more than 1.4 thousand registrations of health foods with function claims were handed in at the Consumer Affairs Agency in Japan. New registrations quadrupled compared to fiscal year 2015, when the "foods with function claims" label was introduced.
