Share of international tourists in Ghana 2022, by purpose of visit
According to a survey conducted in 2022, business was the main purpose for international tourists to visit Ghana. This concerned 24.2 percent of the total survey population. Following were those who visited family or friends, and those who went on holiday, which represented 19.9 percent and 12.9 percent of the tourists, respectively. Overall, over 915,000 international tourists arrived within Ghana's borders in 2022.
