Share of VC investments in climate tech start-ups in Europe 2021-2023, by segment
The energy sector's share of annual start-up investment in Europe remained at roughly 33 percent 2021 to 2023. Meanwhile, mobility and transport's share of investment fell from 43 percent to 22 percent during this same period. In contrast, the industrial sectors share of investment increased from just eight percent in 2021 to more than 20 percent in 2023.
