A 2022 survey in Europe investigated how much eSports viewers spent on their hobby each month. Hardcore eSports fans, who watched an average of more than 10 hours of gaming content per week, spent an average of almost 30 euros per month on eSports. Meanwhile, occasional viewers spent a monthly average of seven euros on eSports.
