Import value of goods in Ghana 2019, by category
In 2019, vehicles other than railways and tramways formed the largest category of imports to Ghana in terms of their monetary value. This amounted to approximately 1.69 billion U.S. dollars, occupying 16 percent of the country's total imports. Furthermore, as of the same year, the second and third largest import values were from the categories for machinery, nuclear reactors and boilers, and electricals and electronic equipment, which stood at 1.36 billion U.S. dollars and 685.02 million U.S. dollars, respectively.
