POS terminals in selected Central, Eastern and Southern European countries H1 2019
A point-of-sale (POS) terminal is a system found at retail locations for processing card payments. These portable devices are now the normal practice for B2C services across Europe. As of June the 30th, 2019, there was estimated to be more than 14.7 million such terminals processing payment s across Europe. The most POS terminals in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe as of the first half of June 2019 were situated in the Poland.
