Share of registered psychologists in Belgium 2020, by region
In 2020, roughly 15 percent of all registered psychologists in Belgium were working in the Brussels-Capital Region (the city of Brussels and its surrounding villages). In Belgium, for a person to use the psychologist title, he/she must have the required diplomas and also be registered to the psychologist commission. In 2020, most recognized psychologists were exercising in the Flemish region. However, more than a third of psychologists were situated in the southern region of Wallonia.
