Importance level of social media for the society in Denmark 2019, by age group
In 2019, the younger generation in Denmark had a more positive view of the impact of social media for Denmark as a well-informed country when compared to the older generation. While 36.5 percent of the respondents between 18 and 34 years found that social media were important in this regard, this was the case for 27.8 percent of the respondents in the group of 35 years and older. In similar vein, nearly 11 percent of the oldest respondents belived that social media had no relevance for the enlightenment of Denmark's society, while around five percent of the youngst people believed so.
