Favorability of actors who played the Joker in the U.S. 2019

This statistic shows the favorability of the actors who have portrayed the Joker in live-action movies among adults in the United States as of June 2019. The findings show that Jack Nicholson was the favorite, with 81 percent of survey respondents stating that they found his portrayal of the Joker to be very or somewhat favorable. Second was the late Heath Ledger, who played the Joker in 2008 box office hit 'The Dark Knight'. Ledger passed away whilst the movie was still in production, however won multiple awards posthumously including a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role., as well as an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
