This statistic shows the results of a survey of British adults regarding the Windrush Scandal that occured in early 2018. The majority of respondents felt ashamed of how Britain treated the Windrush Generation, while only nine percent of those surveyed did not feel ashamed. Of those surveyed, 61 percent put the scandal down to government incompetence rather than the rules on immigration.
