Colombia: restaurants 2016, by region
The statistic presents the distribution of gastronomic establishments of tourist interest in Colombia in 2016. The study comprises therefore both formal and informal establishments that have gastronomic products which reflect traditional gastronomy representative of the culture and history of each region. In 2016, Bogota and its surrounding areas registered approximately 55 percent of these establishments, followed by the Caribbean coast region with 21 percent of gastronomic establishments with tourist interest.
