Italy: social media influence on consumer purchasing decisions 2017, by product
This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Italy as of December 2017. The aim of the survey was to find out the product categories in which Italian consumers were easily influenced by the celebrities they follow on social media. According to the survey results, over 14 percent of respondents declared that celebrities' posts have an effect on their buying behavior when it comes to fashion items and accessories. Conversely, when it comes to books only roughly one percent of respondents stated to be affected.
