This statistic illustrates the environment-friendly food consumption habits put into practice at home by Italians in order to reduce the environmental pollution in Italy in 2017. According to data, 24 percent of the respondents stated that they pay attention to avoid food waste. 21 percent of the interviewees replied that in order to contribute to the protection of our environment they buy more seasonal fruit and vegetables.
