Biodiesel production capacity in the U.S. 2020, by key state
Iowa had a biodiesel production capacity of 459 million gallons per year as of December 2020. This was the largest production capacity in the United States, and about 80 million gallons more than Texas. Texas is the largest consumer of biodiesel in the U.S.
