Felix Kjellberg, better known on the internet platforms as PewDiePie, had the most viewed channel on YouTube in Sweden, as of December 2020. In fact, his videos, focused mainly on gaming and comedy, were viewed over 24 billion times. The next channel in the ranking was AviciiOfficialVevo, with nearly seven billion views, while ZaraLarssonMusicVevo had around 2.1 billion video views for the evaluated period. Avicii had, furthermore, the channel with the highest number of subscribers, reaching over 11.2 million in 2020. Among the other Swedish YouTube channels with most subscribers, were ToveLoVevo and AronChupaVevo.

A so-called micro influencer would make minimum five thousand Swedish kronor per video, while a macro influencer would make between 15 thousand and 25 thousand that year (ID 991919). An icon influencer could make up to 300 thousand Swedish kronor.
