The internet was the leading advertising medium by expenditure in Ukraine, at about 7.2 billion Ukrainian hryvnia in 2022. For the first time in 2022, Ukraine's digital advertising spending outnumbered TV advertising. All advertising segments saw a sharp decrease in 2022 compared to the previous year due to the impact of the Russian invasion.
