Per capita alcohol consumption in the U.S. Northeast region 1977-2021
In 2021, the alcohol consumption per capita in the Northeast was 2.54 gallons of ethanol (pure alcohol). The Health People program initiated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services established a nation-wide objective of no more than 2.1 gallons of alcohol per capita. This statistic shows the alcohol consumption per capita of all beverages in the U.S. Northeast region between 1977 and 2021.
