This statistic presents the share of adults donating money to sectors represented by the UK government's Department of Culture, Media and Sport in England, between 2010 and 2019, by socio-economic group. Sectors include the arts, museums, archives, heritage, libraries and sports. Over each of the survey periods, the proportion of respondents donating in the upper socio-economic group tended to be higher than those in the lower socio-economic group: In 2018/19, 38.9 percent of those in the upper socio-economic group had given money in the last year compared to 19.7 percent in the lower socio-economic group.
