This statistic shows the share of value for ambient food product categories in the Netherlands for the 12 month period ending June 28, 2015. Ambient food refers to products that have been processed or packaged so they can be stored at room or ambient temperatures for a longer shelf life. Sweet and savory biscuits had one of the larger shares of the market, representing 14.7 percent of the total sales value of ambient foods in the Netherlands. Dry soups and baking ingredients were less popular, with market shares of 1.7 and 1.8 percent respectively.
