This statistic shows the emotional effect of violent crime on victims in England and Wales (UK) in 2015/16, by response. One can see that the majority of the responses of victims show some level of emotional trauma as a result of violent crime victimization. However one Fourth of victims stated that they were "not emotionally affected" by being a victim of violent crime.
