Percentage of indigenous people living in extreme poverty in Latin America 2021
Among selected Latin American countries in 2021, Colombia had the highest share of indigenous population with an average per capita income below the extreme poverty line, at 40.6 percent. Panama followed second, with 25.9 percent of indigenous people living in extreme poverty. Those two countries had also the highest share of indigenous people living in poverty.
