Main obstacles to commercial graphene adoption globally 2020
According to a survey carried out in January 2021, cost was the main barrier for commercial adoption of graphene worldwide, with over 30 percent of the surveyed graphene companies and institutions citing this issue. Other main aspects hindering the widespread adoption of the material were production methods, scaling, and distribution, as well as the material quality.
