Criteria of choice of independent automotive workshops in the U.S. 2020
U.S. car drivers' main reason to choose an independent automotive workshop to service their vehicle was the trusted quality of their work. 40 percent of the respondents also identified low prices as the second leading criterion to prefer independent workshops. By contrast, less than 15 percent of those surveyed singled out quick repairs and good advice as noteworthy criteria. In 2020, the United States recorded an average of 656 entries per automotive workshop.
