Share who are worried about poverty and social inequality in South Africa 2022-2024
According to monthly surveys conducted in January 2024, a 31 percent share of the respondents in South Africa were worried about poverty and social inequalities in the country. During the period under review, the share of participants in South Africa concerned about social injustices and poverty fluctuated between 27 percent, observed in December 2022, and 38 percent, reaching a peak in August 2023.
