Trust in news brands in Colombia 2023

During a 2023 survey in Colombia, more than six out of ten responding internet users gave Señal Colombia a score between 6 and 10 on a 10-point trust scale. The same share (65 percent) of respondents expressed trust in regional TV news – such as those broadcast by Bogotá-based City TV and Medellín-based Teleantioquia. The newspapers El Tiempo and El Espectador, deemed trustworthy by 60 and 59 percent of the interviewees respectively, were also one of the top online news brands in Colombia.
