Lung cancer mortality rate in Europe in 2018, by country
In 2018, Hungary reported 91.8 deaths per 100,000 population from lung cancer, the highest mortality rate in Europe. Greece followed closely with 74.9 deaths per 100,000, and then Denmark with at rate of 70.5 lung cancer deaths. On the other hand, there were 38.6 deaths per 100,000 in Sweden as a result of lung cancer.
