Insurance companies' actions to support financial stability by region 2020
The most common action taken by North American insurance companies support financial stability over the next 6-12 months is to rationalize compensation and headcount. Over four out of ten respondents selected this option in a 2020 survey. This differs from both Europe and the Asia Pacific region, where insurance companies were more likely to implement technology to enhance efficiency - although reducing headcount was still a popular action in these regions.
