Advertising revenue of selected morning network newscasts in the U.S. 2018-2020
In the second quarter of 2020, during the rise of coronavirus cases in the United States, ABC's morning newscast had an advertising revenue of 77.7 million U.S. dollars. Compared to the same period in 2019 the figure grew by one percent. This was the only morning network news program to experience growth in ad revenues in the measured period, as CBS and NBC saw drops of three and seven percent, respectively.
