Net sales growth of bottled beer from EABL in Kenya 2018-2020
East African Breweries Limited (EABL) registered a drop of 23 percent in the net sales growth of bottled beer in Kenya as of 2020. The strong decrease was associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, and the measures adopted to contain the virus spread in the country. In 2018, sales of bottled beers grew by three percent in Kenya. Main commercial brewery in the country, EABL is a subsidiary of the global alcohol producer Diageo and produces popular beverages like Tusker and Senator.
