Share of household CO2 emissions Japan FY 2021, by fuel type
In the fiscal year 2021, electricity constituted the largest share of fuel types producing household carbon dioxide emissions in Japan, accounting for close to 47 percent. Gasoline followed with the second largest share, accounting for approximately 23 percent of the household carbon dioxide emissions generated in Japan.
