As of 2021, natural gas pipeline inflow capacity in the Midwest amounted to some 55.4 billion cubic feet per day, while The Midwest region comprises the states of Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri, while South Central comprises Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
