The influence of the coronavirus on B2B marketing was observed in a study analyzing the share of views of various content types among North American companies before the pandemic, from January to March, and during the pandemic, from March to May 2020. While some of the B2B content types maintained viewer interest, such as the webpage with four percent views before the pandemic and 4.3 percent during the pandemic, other content types were more affected. At the same time the share of views of reports dropped from 10.4 percent to 6.9 percent while the video as a content type profited from the crisis with the share of views growing from 8.6 percent to 11.7 percent.
