Cyber attacks in the CEE region 2021
Cyber-attacks have become more frequent and dangerous in the last years, with consequences at a national level. In 2021, out of the countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Belarus has reported the highest share of banking malware attacks and attacks by cryptominers. However, the country with the highest share of telnet attacks was Russia, reaching more than 3.8 percent.
