Share of accidental deaths India 2022, by cause
Traffic accidents were one of the major causes of deaths across India with 45 percent of accidental death share in 2022. Over 194.35 thousand traffic accidents occurred in the country that year. This was around 20 percent increase in accidents from the previous year.
